Nasrallah: Israel implicated Hezbollah right after Burgas blast

BEIRUT: Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah cast doubt Saturday over his party?s involvement in the 2012 bombing in Bulgaria that claimed the lives of five Israeli tourists, saying the Jewish State had implicated the resistance group soon after the incident occurred.

"Hours after the Bulgarian attack took place [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu immediately accused Hezbollah,? he said.

?Did [Israeli] prepare or wage a war on Lebanon? No,? he said.

"Israel does not need to wait for the results of a probe to wage a war on Lebanon," he added.

Nasrallah said he would be patient before commenting on the bombing in the Black Sea resort of Burgas.

?I don't want to comment on the Bulgarian accusations. This issue is being looked at in a patient and calm manner and we will see later how to deal with it, depending on the outcome.?

However, the leader of the resistance party accused Lebanese and Arab media of taking advantage of the incident.

"The worst thing here is that all this talk by Lebanese and Arab media [and political figures] of a possible war by Israel on Lebanon over this supposed attack,? he said.
